The Prometheus Camp Association is a community for all protus and all those interested in our open and accepting atmosphere full of curious pondering. The association is also the backbone of all camp and Protu related activities. As a member you enable us to continue to provide remarkable coming-of-age camps for the youth and get to take part in a variety of fun Protu activities!
As a member of the amazing Protu community you get to:
- Work actively as a part of the association for example as a trainer or by joining a section
- Become a junior counsellor in our summer camps
- Take part in the decision making of the association in the general meetings
- Read the minutes of the association’s general meetings and board meetings via the electronic material bank (from 2025 onwards).
- Get notified of current events in the community through our monthly newsletter.
Membership fee in 2024:
- Personal membership 39€ (a low-income individual member can pay 25€ at their discretion – in this case, select “Low-income option” as the association on the form)
- Family membership 58€ (those living in the same household)
- Community membership 205€ for registered associations
Membership discounts in 2024:
- 39€ off Prometheus camps, when the enroller is a Protu member at the time of enrollment and the membership fee for the previous year has been paid
- Weekend-long camps in the Autumn for 51€ and a 36€ discount from Winter and Summer camps for those who have already had their Prometheus camp experience
In addition, Pro-Seremoniat gives Protu members a €30 discount on the speaker service and a €5 discount on the party manual.
More information about membership fees
- If you are a new member, you can join by trying out the membership for 3 months first and then paying the first year’s membership fee. If you want to do this, do not pay the membership fee directly with a credit card or bank transfer in Paytrail, but choose an invoice as the payment method. In this case, you will receive a membership fee invoice after 3 months (the start date of membership is the day you became a member), which you then pay normally.
- If you are a counsellor applying to a camp team, the first year’s membership fee is optional for you. If you want to join without paying the first year’s membership fee, select an invoice as the payment method on the registration form. After 3 months of membership, you will receive an invoice, which you can ignore without losing your membership. We want to make it possible for your own financial situation not to be an obstacle to working as a coach at Protu. However, we hope that as many people as possible will choose to support Protu with their membership fee when becoming a counsellor.

As a Protu support member, you have the same membership rights as other members. If you want to change your membership to a support membership, please submit a support request via the Protu portal’s helpdesk (select “Membership issues” as the type).
